Would the S&W Triple-Lock be able to be used as a Mil-spec handgun for the Expansion era and if so what rifle would it be paired with?

Made from 1908 to 1915. And used as a military sidearm by the British in .455. I think it qualifies.
The Lee - Enfield SMLE would make a good pair.

Sorry to resurrect this thread. Just curious, what about the S&W Model 1917?  I figured it was a bit too different from the Triple-Lock, but figured it never hurts to ask.

Scattered Thumbs

Well, the 1917 is, for all purposes, a hand ejector 2nd model chambered in .45ACP. The second model appeared in 1915 to simplify the triple-lock that was found too costly and unnecessary.
I read somewhere that it was the British, who bought a great many number in. 455, that asked the deletionn of the ejector rod shroud for fear of gumming up the revolvers in the muddy trenches.
