Well, I joined SASS 1994 and shot matches most of the time until 2012 or 2013, when I left the sport.  I got bit by the bug again, and after a month of re-arming and reloading, I met up with Old pards from the California Rangers at Sac Valley shooting center, Ione, CA for my first match in four years.

What a hoot!  I never missed a target with the Uberti 1860 Henry, shooting .45 Schofields!  It was so dead nuts on, I even picked off a 2" dongle below a target for an 8 second bonus.  Of course, I was so slow you could time me with a sundial, but who cares.  It was great to be back in the saddle and hook up with old CAS pards again!
