I have always loved the SAA, but figured a genuine 1st Gen would be out of reach. Was in a local LGS and he had not just a SAA but a nickel Bisley! Well, it cost me a AO Tommy Gun, but I am thrilled. Built in 1905, .38 WCF and still tight as a drum!

Looks to be in pretty nice shape.  Don't see nickled Bisleys much.  Do you think it is the factory finish?

Nice revolver at a good value. Love the cartridge. Congrats👍

1st Generation Colts are just different. Once you've handled, and hopefully shot one, you will know what's missing from all the others. Congratulations!

First Generation Colts are just another Single Action.  Most of those guns are just a lump of Iron.  Until Colt switched to steel.  The mystique attached to them is just ......... silliness.  As is drooling over an inanimate lump of iron.

PS:  Almost forgot, atz a really nice Bisley you've scored Deacon.  Goin to be great fun to play with.

Thanks gys, yup, I do think it is factory nickel. I talked with a couple of guys at Coltforum and they were convinced. I know how to read S&Ws for it, but new to Colts!
