Well, if it makes you feel any better I do have one of those backwards opening M&P's.  Lonnie has all my Detective Specials right now so I'm going to have to drag out a mix of 4" guns for our first AZSA match of the season in April (weather permitting.)  Hope my thumb remembers how to work that way ;)
