Well in my case, there was no compelling technical reason.  I just felt like making something a little different and fun.  It wasn't based on any historical gun, but might be the kind of thing a Hollywood prop master would come up with for some low down, mean, ornery bad guy...or Clint Eastwood  )  A friend of mine liked it so much he talked me out of it a while back

I have been Shooting Open Top Guns for a few years now.
And I have several 2nd gen Colts .
A few Months ago I come across a Second gen Dragoon unfired in the box.
For 300.00 shipped to me . lol
Yes you read that right .
A Second gen Colt Dragoon unfired in the Box Shipped for 300.00

So Now I have a Colt Dragoon !
Im Not sure if I will put a conversion cylinder in her or not.
I really enjoy shooting Cap Guns .
So time will tell .
