MidwayUSA list Remington SP-10 wad but out of stock.

Grafs and Sons list Remington SP-10 in stock,

MidwayUSA did have the BPI PT1044 but must have discontinued them.

I have happened onto both Remington and BPI and they look functionality the same.

I also found Remington SP-10 at Ahlman's in southern Minnesota at a very good price.

It don't look like they have an online store.

Here is the Remington SP-10 wad on left,  BPI PT-1044 on right. The BPI wad may be a little  softer to crush but they both look to be functionality the same.  They are listed as 1-3/8 oz loads but I fill the top with a biodegradable packing peanut crushed in on top of shot.   I've heard of others using a 16 gauge fiber wad in bottom of cup.

Not to be a smart a$$ but I know the rule on shot shells. My suggestion on making a more solid shot column was for defensive purposes or for use on vermin four or two legged.

I have not tried it and most likely will not.

If I want a tighter pattern for SASS I would use a tighter choke. That 4X4 load does the trick every time and takes no time at all to clean.
As far as plastic wads I will pass because, like I said, that 4X4 load with a fiber wad shines for SASS competition and makes clouds of smoke and satisfying boom. As a bonus it drives the nitro shooters nuts.

Here I'm shooting my Colt 1878 12 gauge.  Note the lady with clipboard to the right on the last 4 shots.  And this is BlackMZ.   ;D

Bibbyman,
If you get tired of that "fake" TTN, give me a yell.  Keep my J P Sauer company just fine  ;D
