Shawna had a really bad day yesterday.  I i had the kids come up because the doctor answered my question "Should I gather the family" with "I would".

She had relapsed to place worse that she had been in before and had the added problem of air between her lung and inside of the ribcage on the left side.  They put a tube in her chest, put the breathing and feeding tubes back in and adjusted the chemicals that were fighting infection. Her body temperature was too high and her whit blood cell count was way ti high.

This morning she is cooler, has no air in her chest cavity, has a white cell count still about 3X too high, but 2/3 of where it was yesterday.  The pneumonia is still not coming down, but she is resting better.  The kids and the rest of our family are here and we have more hope that we did at this time yesterday.

Not out of the woods yet, still avery sick lady, but I have more hope for a good outcome.

More later.

Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes.

Tom
