Greetings All,
Here is something that I pretty much "stole" from the Colt forum.  "The Pathfinder" posted this YouTube link there, a series of videos that follow a young lady's efforts to make a SAA from scratch (I'll be turning 69 in a week so just about EVERY lady seems young to me :) ).  Interesting stuff!

Long to watch but well worth it.  She does everything except grow the tree for the stocks!!!

I certainly agree, Coffinmaker.  I found the little things fascinating... making the bolt, her method of aligning the chambers with the bore, etc.  Obviously an extremely talented woman.  It will be fun to see the finished product.
One thing I really liked was her solution to the hand spring problem.  She use a wire spring attached to the hand.  Wire springs tend to outlast flat springs.  Her design would allow for a much easier hand spring replacement, should it become necessary.
