50 yds..............elbow rest on bench

I just ordered 200  Western Bullet heel base 93g bullets and 100 pieces of the 32 Short Colt Brass.

I ordered a Letter 0 drill bushing to make a sizing die to resize 32 S&W Long brass as I still can't find 32 COLT LONG brass.

Hello from the UK....last year I bought a 32 Colt sizing die from CH4D and ran .32 S&W long brass into it; this left a shoulder where the solid base ended so I turned up a mandrel, pushed each case on and turned off the step. A rotating centre supported the primer pocket end of each piece of brass. My concern was that the case wall may thin out at the junction of the wall and case head so I sectioned a case, inspected under a 10 power lens and found no problem at all.

44wcf...Thanks ...I ordered some brass and bullets from him

Wool...Great idea! I'll have to rev up the lathe and try that if the reformed 32 S&W long brass I just ordered doesn't work out

Roy,
I am glad to help a '92 .32 Colt enthusiast. ;D

The Lee .314" push through sizer will work aok to resize brass and would likely work to size .32 S&W cases down although I have not tried that.

Having said that, I typically do not size my fired cases since the Accurate molds I had made (1 & 2 pages) were dimensioned to be a snug fit in them as fired.

If I use the 299153 with the .299" heel, I do need to neck size with the Lee .314" die.

Chev. William

Read Fully through this thread and the one on .32 Long Rim Fire reloading and you will find descriptions on how to form .32 S&W Long Brass down to .32Long Colt diameters all the way to the top of the  Rim.

By the Way, .32 Long RF and .32 Long Colt CF share case dimensions.

Best Regards,

A friend gave me some photocopies of two interesting historic articles on the .32 1892 Marlin rifle. I would have attached them here but they are too large.

You can access them here but if you are not currently a member you will need to register.
