At the recent Winter Range SASS national championship match GAF Department of the Platte was again requested to present the colors at the opening ceremonies.  As an added note the match organizers made some timing and event changes this year and attendance was the best ever we "played" to a full house.  Participants were:  Cowtown Scout, Capt Dan Blodgett, Lou Graham, Rye Creek Roberts, Colt Laredo, and Sagebrush Burns.

Presenting the colors.

Many thanks to all who participated.  I know I speak for all of us when I say it was an honor and a proud moment to be a part of the presentation and represent the Grand Army of the Frontier.

I understand the pictures "went south" so I replaced them.  Hopefully no more problems.

Cowtown Scout

WOW we are all actually in step in the photos you posted.  Good Job calling the cadence Col. Burns Sir!

I received some photos this weekend from two different people who attended and were on opposite sides of the room.

Entry into the space, note the size of the crowd

Lead Officers wheeled off to the left and did an about face

Flags and Guard wheeled about the center to face the crowd.  Salute during Pledge of Allegiance and singing of the National Anthem
