another Walker lever fix

Noticing the lever didn't come up to the barrel I trimmed the lever spring base and got it to touch the barrel. Now the lever stays up shooting full loads. And I think it looks better!

Little powder much lead shoots far kills dead.

Your fix allowed the catch on the spring to better engage it's corresponding spot on the lever.  The additional friction is doing the job.  And I agree, it looks better.

Oh ok, instead of trying to rework the 'hook' on the end of this lever catch, you shortened the base, which is probably much easier than trying to do the former.

I've got an old ASM Walker I'm gonna look at right now.
