P.J., seems like lots of people are using cc's anymore for BP or subs, I guess because the subs all weigh different, and even the various brands of BP weigh different. I still use an adjustable muzzle loader marked in grains.

Twenty Bertram .43 Spanish cases arrived t'other day .....

Beautiful stuff! Meets all dimensional requirements and chamber in my rifle. I just annealed them and expanded the necks to accept my .439 bullets.

The shocker was the price - $123.85, including S&H and taxes! Utterly ridiculous. These cases will be treasured and well cared for.
I have since been offered a much better price by a CAS City subscriber on Jamison brass.

I was at the range once and was asked if I would give a guy a 50-70 round for his collection. I said no, telling him what obsolete brass cases cost. These were B.E.L.L. When I got back from changing targets during a cease fire, he was gone and so was one of my 50-70 rds.

I hope that it was a jewel in his collection.
