Pay Dirt Norvelle

Both of those videos are great.  It was interesting to hear the Napoleon ring when it was fired.

I wonder if they have any "Before & After" pics of the APC? It would be interesting to see how 19th century artillery stacked up against "modern armor" (in quotes because, not sure how modern the APC in question is, and of course, shooting an APC I'm sure is nothing like shooting a real tank)

Drydock

Well, its an old M113 from what I can tell, and you can see some of the damage done watching the video.  At least one shot seems to go clean thru it.

It looks to be an old M114.  Too short to be a M113

It's an M114.

Remember - they're not steel-hulled, but aluminum, and a 7.62 NATO round would penetrate one side of any of the PCs.

They've been on the range a long, long time, and they're holed like Swiss Cheese.

As to 19th Century Artillery versus Modern Armor - modern gun systems would've knocked out that position as soon as the smoke was seen, and they'd be moving while they did it.

Scouts Out!
