Sad news! I remember JD well. He was a good man. May he rest in peace.

RIP Jeff,

Jeff is the only Person to visit meat my house in Sacramento; does that make me next?
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Haven't been on here for a while so I missed this.  Was truly sorry to hear of JD's passing.  He was always willing to help others and share his knowledge - he will e sorely missed but his  hard times are now over and he can rest in peace.  A fine man he was and may he rest in peace.
