I checked GB for USFA auctions tonight and saw 46..guns listed.  Not sure I have seen that many USFA guns listed.  Included right now are some rare ones and a lot of desirable ones.  Prices seemed to have topped out a while back and some decent prices available on even the most desirable guns.

They don't seem to be getting a lot cheaper however :)

There are a lot of them for sale.  Most of the high end buyers like myself already have most of them.  It is rare when one comes up that is unique enough to warrant paying many times over original price.  Barleycorn has a couple of weapons that are priced fairly, but I already have them, I'm sure most of the other collectors do as well.  The engraved double eagle is very nice, but it is on the high end.  I seriously doubt that any of the guns priced over 3K will sell unless myself, Shorty or some of the others like us step up to the plate.

Locally I am still seeing the folks that believe their USFA is worth 3-5k .... they are still there,
there is one fellow trying to sell his Rodeo for $1200 - proclaiming that is is
"a desirable USFA because it is NOT a gun that was built with parts from Uberti."
it is still up for sale ...

So,  I will still wait for an affordable USFA to pop up. I am patient and not that anxious to own one "at any cost".
Who knows, I may save enough on gasoline and propane this winter to pay a higher price!
