Hoof Hearted

I have thought about doing this for a while.
Over on "The High Road" there are OFFICIAL threads for the different models so I am going to do the same thing here.
Many of us like to show off our pistols and this will give us a place to do so w/o "hijacking" our pards threads ;)

Rules are simple with "no axe grinding" taking precedence, followed by "stick to the topic" (no other models posted, please), then if you want to stray off topic, please search for like posts and/or start one of your own.........

Thanks, HH

Pettifogger

Here's an extremely odd and rare model.  A 3" 49 with loading lever.  This one falls in the proper serial number range for the few that were made this way.  Obviously, the lever was useless so Colt quit making them after only a few were produced.

Southpaw

HH, That conversion is awsome, thanks for showing me my next "Gotta have".............Southpaw

Major 2

I had an opportunity to get a pair of Colts, these are NIB and the price was right ....
Problem was I needed to put another project on hold for the needed funds.
I weighted the options, and chose , wisely IMHO

The first is this little 49 Pocket , and will be getting Kirst Converter....

The second is 62 Pocket Police ( when the light is better I'll post it's photo )

Hoof - Did you have any trouble getting the timing right with the Kirst cylinder? I have one that I did the same way, and it over-rotates sometimes....

These are mine; the afore-mentioned .32 conversion (a little too much with the Dremel tool), around-barrel and an original round barrel conversion in .38CF.

I really don't recall what I did it has been so many years since I built that conversion. There were lot's of issues with the Kirst Pockets and due to that, poor sales.
