I came across this photo of two well armed Spencer shooters, thought you might find it interesting. Note the hammers are on the wrong side!  JW

Cool photograph!  FYI, the image is reversed   During this era, most of the photographic techniques didn't use a negative to capture the image, and then print the negative on paper.  So, the final image was captured just as viewed through the camera lense...reversed.

Thanks for reversing the image.
The hammers on the carbines are on the correct side now, and their coats button up from the correct side too.
Anybody notice anything odd about the position or side the two primary arms are being carried on?
Carbine on the left where the sword should be, and the sword on the right where the carbine should be?
