Regarding the reviews on Dixie's site, remember that Pietta is the only one making this pistola.

The Patterson was resisted on GB with auction no. 499337560 with start price of $600.  Seems pricy to me.

I've owned two 9" Paterson revolvers of different makes. One was a cased set with accessories.

While the BEST pointing pistols I've ever handed (and accurate in the bargain), they were a pain in the posterior to reload as mine were the "Squareback" models, lacking the cut in the recoil shield to allow capping and the loading lever of the later models.

They usually come with a HEAVY trigger pull and a lot of 'smiths don't want to mess with them. However, as part of a collection, they are unique with that folding trigger.

I'd say that you will not find one cheaper.  They are not easy to find.

Was lurking in a local GS after today's match.  He's got two Pattersons.  One all by itself, the other, a cased Texas Patterson with all the accessories.  Don't know what I'd do with a Patterson, put .. pretty cool
