Two Flints,
I can not add much to the bayonet info Two Flints has offered here.

I do want to add my input into the listing for the M-1841 Rifle made at Harpers Ferry just before the Spencer bayonet listing.
This firearm is a real "cherry", even at the suggested sales price , with the sword bayonet.
