I recently came into a collection of 19 replica Colt 44 cal black powder cylinders. They fit in Colt's between 1851 thru 1860 however I don't know the manufacturer or type of guns they fit. There are many varieties; all have the Navy scene, some with proof marks, and different legends.  I am in the process of sorting them by size (Center Hole, Cal, Width, and Length).  My question is when sorting them in millimeters what decimal position should I use tenth or hundreds.  Any other advice would be helpful.

Is this a trick question of some sort??

Someone actually collected just cylinders? I feel so behind the times by collecting the whole 1860.  ;D I would go to hundredths, at the very least.
