Once again the Grand Army of the Frontier, Department of the Platte has been asked to provide the color guard for the opening ceremony at Winter Range, the SASS national championship match.  This is a s big as cowboy action matches get and I am honored to be able to organize the color guard.  This year the opening ceremony will be Wednesday evening at 1900 (7PM), the night before the main match commences.  If you're going to be at the match or in the area I'd sure appreciate it if you could participate.  Winter Range is about the biggest cowboy action match there is and it is an honor and a pleasure to represent GAF at this event.  My thanks for your interest and participation,

Sagebrush Burns

Regretfully I will be unable to particiapte in the Color Guard this year as I will not be attending Winter Range.  My attendace at two more 150th Civil War events this year will take my needed vacation time.  I have attached a photo of last year's WR Color Guard taken by Major Photography.
Respectfully, Scout

Scout, thanks for posting the pic.  We will miss you at WR.  Gotta hate it when work interferes with the important stuff...

I'm in. It will be an honor to participate in my first ceremony.

I can bring a rifle if needed. If so, which would be preferable:

Springfield 1873 trapdoor

Winchester 1894

I will be in my Rough Rider uniform.

Thanks,
Colt Laredo
