  ;D
Haven't been in this Sooty Room in awhile , nice to see you all going strong . Busted my back up so don't get out much no more sadly .
I sure see alot of For Sale stuff on the Forum , I am wondering if it is because people are broke or the Sport of Cas is getting smaller , which I would be saddened by .
What's your take on this,phenomena?
Have a swell wonderful day today and thank you if anyone replies😁

Alabama and Sarah out

Alabam'n'Sarah;  That is quite a philosophical question. I have been through several phases of popular shooting sports that have petered out. But then again, there is Trap, that has been around ever since JC was a PFC.

IMHO; Cas is a wonderful sport with wonderful folks.  I've Binder Dundat on many shooting games. and I'm stilil in trap at a practice level and CAS as a regular but not frequent competitor.

CAS is a wonderful sport. Oh? I said that already?

Well SIR , that is quite a philosophical ANSWER too  ;D
At least JC knows were both thinking , and loving anything we can get our hands on that goes Boom , Hiss , pop , crack , woooosh like airguns too  ....
Oh the proverbial ebb and flow of the Creators gift of life , and SOOT 😁
Good day Gent ! 😁

Howdy Alabama,

The view from my porch says that my home club has matured and wintered well.  We are host to the Wisconsin State SASS Championship for the first time here.  June 5-7 are the dates.  The club is the Rock River Regulators.  Come ahead and join us for some fine shooting fun at a club that really values your participation.

The 1st 2014 Jackson Hole match in NJ had 6" of snow on the ground.  Fifty one shooters showed up.  I would offer that CAS is alive and well

Shooters come and go. Some like me have life get in the way of fun fo a while but I'll be back strong soon.

Ebb and Flow.
The local clubs are all strong and growing.
Club started in November in an area that has 5 established clubs is now up to two posses for their last shoot. Doing well.

Some real good explanations there Gents , thanks .
Remembering back to the Classifieds here some years ago you were hard pressed to find 10 Arms for sale , and nobody would pay more than a ridiculously low price because the economy was very bad here .
I figure now the economy MAY ON THE SURFACE APPEAR better , so maybe people have a little more money 💵 now , and also I think the amount of Arms on the Classified here shows the Sport is strong enough and people are mostly upgrading or changing into another type of Arm they may want . Sounds logical enough right , lol 😁
I do believe NOZ had the simplest and easiest explanation to comprehend for me , but my pee brain needs simple  ;D
Thank you all once again , SIR , JOHN BOY, THE FAMOUS BIG LUBE BULLET DICK DASTARDLY ( I hear your name everywhere now , not just BP sports, but even a guy I know shoots your .45 in his big bore air rifle , CONGRATS ! )
Thank you all for your hospitality too , this board has a very pleasant demeanor .
God Bless , and enjoy your day 😊
Sarah and Alabama out .
Ps..... Whatever you do , don't let your Wife shoot a Heckler and Koch MP5 , her interest in Cowboy Action became near Nill and the now ammo bill is out the Roof ! LoL 😁 What fine Arms though . I lost my Cowgirl to a certified HK NINJA WOMAN , Holy Moly 😊

Ho Alabama,

Get that woman a brace of 1851 open tops with Kirst Konverter cylinders.  Probably with 5½" barrels.  Load 'em up with 1.3cc of FFFg Holy Black under 115 grain Slim38 bullets in 38 Special brass.  This is a very enjoyable rig with light recoil and great accuracy.

Hee hee hee , I hear what your saying Mr. Dastardly, and I am ALL grins , cause she has a boatload of pistolas and rifles , 90% are civil war or cowboy or pre-civil war , so it isn't an issue of loving the snot out of her Remingtons and Colts I am here to tell ya , it is the life changing experience of handling one of the finest weapons made , the illustrious and badd a$$ Heckler and Koch that changed my beautiful wifes flavor in guns and her desires to send 100's of bullets downrange in a minute now 😁
Its probably similar to one of US firing a Gatlin Gun , there ain't no going back 😊
I figure its all good as long as I ain't on the receivin end of any of her fine Arms 😁
