Is NCOWS on a roll now?

Is NCOWS on a roll now?
I 'm not sure if it is my imagination or what, but it seems to me, since I joined, that the interest in NCOWS is starting to build. Even my shooting pard, who is a life member of SASS, was talking to me today about joining, and the possibilty of getting a NCOWS "mini-posse" going. We know that we could not get into any of the ranges in this part of AZ because SASS is too imbeded, but we did talk about setting up a range on his property.

I am noticing more traffic here, and just went to CasCity Profiles, put in "NCOWS" in the search and came up with 3 pages of NCOWS members.

Has the membership spiked, recently?

I sure hope so!!

From my perspective I see many fellow shooters that used to be or still are SASS members but that are getting increasingly turned off by SASS for a wide variety of reasons. Some are simply looking for something that appeals more broadly to them. NCOWS and Western3Gun are the logical alternatives, for quite different reasons. Fortunately, one can move to either or both of these alternatives with little additional effort or expense.

People want something different every now and again.  Of Course we will grow.  We offer a great product (entertainment) with a distinct difference than SASS.  This is a situation where you can love both and not feel guilty.

  Eventually NCOWS will reach the exponential growth rate phase. I believe it is comming soon. When it does, we will have to be very careful not to lose sight of the goals of the organization.   jt
