Shotgun Help Needed

Ai'nt got no safties on my hammered double kin put 4 aimed shots in under 6seconds not the fastist but with the Holy Black fast enough.  the worlds record is under 4 seconds. :o

97's are nice like them to, but lever shotguns ROCK. :o

I have the kick problem under control now and it doesn't beat my shoulder to hamburger anymore.  Now I have these problems to address.

rap... did you ever find out to disconnect that safety, and I just got some polishing compound by turtle wax I am gunna try it today it's A very fine grit. i'll let you know how it works.
also one screw on the butt plate I just can't get it to break.I twisted the head of craftman screwdriver 180* and it would not break. can anybody help me,Ithink I'llsend for new screw, and drill it out

You twisted a Craftsman on the buttstock screws? :o I'm impressed.  Those clever Commies must've figgered out a way to weld screws to the wood! ::)

Arapaho, have you solved your chamber issue and speed challenges, yet?

I took a different path.  I practiced - practiced - practiced pushing the safety "off" on my Stoeger (with A-Zoom snap caps chambered) until it became automatic.  No lawsuit-happy lawyer will get ME for dis-engaging a factory safety!  A side benefit is that all that simulated firing - breaking open - closing - pushing safety  helped "break in" the springs so now it's easier to break open.  As to the chambers, are you familiar with Crocus Cloth?  It is (I think) the finest grit sandpaper made;  about 2000 to 2500 grit if I were to guess.  I twisted a strip of Crocus cloth around a 20 ga. bore brush until it was snug in my 12 ga chambers and then fired up the drill at max speed using an in & out motion and checking often.  Worked for me.  And I don't have to polish my all-brass shells.  'Course, I'm in it for the fun, not competition, so BP is my usual powder. ;)

When I first got my Marlin match gun I had simular problems with screws. I got diggin' in my old tool box, (don't werk on cars too much) and found what I call a close quarter screwdriver. The tips (changable are a bout 2" long) and are attached to a heavy disc/knob then a rachet handle that came with it, goes on the shaft. You can put good steady down pressure on the screw using your free hand pull the rachet like a breaker bar to get those tight screws. I bought mine years ago from Matco or Snap on for taking screws out of dashboards. I have seen them in the Auto parts store. If I new how to use the camera I would post a pick of it. I keep it in my range box now instead of my tool box. I also bought new screws since I don't like buggered heads.

I BOUGHT A 12 GA. TAMPON AND POLISHING COMPOUND BY TURTLE WAX VERY LIGHT GRIT. PUT IT ON MY DRILL - IN&OUT A FEW TIMES WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE THAT STUFF MAKES ,WORKS GREAT. NOW I'M WORKING OPEN-CLOSE, SOMETIMES IT CLOSES AND WON'T SHOOT,BUT IT IS BRAND NEW SO IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME
