Are USFAs slowing?

Seems like pricing was up for awhile but not much moving these days. Did these guns peak, or is this part of the overall gun slowing?

Not according to Boge Quinn who posted this today on the Single-Actions Net:

QuoteBy the way...Jeff and I are in Tulsa for the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show. I have seen about a dozen USFA sixguns, and they are way higher-priced than 3rd-Gen Colts. Like $1800 to $2400. Might be time to sell a few. Or not...

And BOY, did we ever score some dandies! Tulsa never disappoints.

At the Dallas gun show last month I was standing at a table admiring some of the seller's wares, and a guy walks up next to me and says to the dealer, "Any interest in this?"  Turned out to be a beautiful USFA blued SA in .45 Colt still in the box with all the amenities.  He was asking $1000 for it.  The dealer looked it over (while I politely kept my mouth shut) and bought it on the spot.  I was hoping he would turn it down so I could buy it but it didn't happen.  Just goes to show you there are bargains out there that occasionally pop up.  Sadly, I just missed this one. :(

There is another reason why sales may have slowed down a bit of late - they always do this time of year.  People have a tendency to hold on to their expendable cash, making fewer purchases of personal items, in anticipation of holiday season expenses.  Same thing happens around March, just before tax time.
