Anyone have experience with the cast bullets from GAD? If so how did they perform?

Two Flints

Treebeard,

I did a quick search on SSS and came up with this earlier thread that may answer your question  http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php/topic,29878.0.html  I'm sure other SSS members will chime in with their comments.

Just another link I found:  http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php/topic,41145.0.html

Two Flints---Thanks for the research.  I guess I will keep casting my own!!

General Lee

I have purchased and fired around 200 56-50 reloads from GAD they work pretty good $2 per round not sure what he puts in them.  Years ago he had a bullet that did not chamber well.  Uneven response time and service if you are really deferential to him he usually fills the order a little faster.

General Lee---Thanks for the input .  You reaffirmed my intention to stick with the Lee mould I received with the carbine. I was hopeing
To not have to cast but the Lee bullets are working quite well. Good 44-40 bullets for my new 3 band rifle will be a lot easier to find.
