Either a Krag, or a cut down 03 or Garand.  Would actualy prefer an old cutdown.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Have you checked out Atlanta Cutlery or Bud-K knifes.  They usually have the 1905, 1943 and 1944 long, cut down and factory made short bayonets reproductions.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

There's lots of various length repro bayonets available on e-bay, as low as $30 or so. Hopefully, they wouldn't need as much work to actually lock onto a rifle as my IMA repro Springfield bayo did.

If you don't need a long one, how about CMP? They have WW2 Garand 10" bayonets for $55 without scabbard and $65 with. The website wasn't working too fast, but from what I saw, there were at least some available that had wood grips, and for our period, the green scabbard won't fit anyway.
