Got them new chaps done.....finally !

Parade coming up Saturday, . . . finally got MY chaps ready for it. Everyone else came first, . . . these are mine (until my nephew sees em and talks me out of them

).

Anyway, . . . this was about the most fun pair I have ever done, . . .

Ahh, . . . he's just some old coot came wandering in, . . . needed a hand out, . . . so I put him to modeling the work.

Course, . . . considering what I pay him, . . . maybe it's a bust either way

Well, . . . In Olive Hill, Ky, . . . they have the 4th of July parade on the Saturday before the 4th, . . . or the 4th itself if it falls on a Saturday.

Sometimes the Shriners are there, . . . lots of horses, . . . kids on bicycles, . . . sometimes a mountain man popping off his smoke pole, . . . and of course the usual politicians throwin' candy, . . . lookin' for votes.

But it's a fun time, . . . about a 2 mile jaunt.

Well, . . . we lived through the parade, . . . only about 3 miles of riding, . . . but lots of fun, . . . kids love the horses, etc.

One pic is me in the new chaps, . . . the other is of Rod and Melissa, . . . in chaps and chinks I made for them. We should have gotten a "family picture" but no one thought of it at the time.
