HORNADY PROJECTOR SHELL PLATE FOR SPENCER?

Hello Lads,
Patiently waiting for Cimarron to ship my Spencer carbine should arrive Monday.
I anticipation, I was able to find 100 new Starline cases and went to my big redding press to size and bell the cases.

It irritates me to no end that right next to me is my Hornady Pro-jector, and I could have fully loaded 100 rounds in about the time it took to just size them on the single stage.

Does anyone make custom shell plates that would work with the Spencer, or is there a plate caliber size that could be machined to handle the big rim?

Going full Monty with any lever gun produces a heap of empty brass and a single stage press is real work when an hour spent on the Hornady and I have 300 44 WCf ready to go.

Thanks,

Wolf Killer

What I use to do to load my 56-56 Spencer is use a Lyman T-mag turret press.
I would put all 3 dies in the press and then manually advanced it threw the stages for a completed shell.  It is slower then making bullets in a progressive press like a Dillon but it is faster then changing dies in a single stage press.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"
