Looking at Howells website under "new products" they have  a conversion cylinder for the pocket Remington to .32 S&W . I hope it is for real as I was waiting on Kirst and it looks like they have jumped ship. Will be giving them a call .

Please keep us informed as to what you find out!
The 32 S&W is not an accurate choice in this platform. The 32 Colt might actually shoot a bit better as it is supplied in factory form as a Heel Base Bullet loading but I do understand that the 32 S&W is a bit easier to buy factory ammo for.

Walt Kirst told me last week that he was dropping the 32 S&W from the Colt 48/49 lineup now also.......

Went and made a few purchases lately that will put off the purchase of the conversion cylinder for the Pocket pistol.
Will post updates.

Why does Kirst have such a problem with pocket pistol sized conversion cylinders? I was already to buy a Remington pocket pistol when Kirst came out with their conversion for it. Then the conversion was quickly withdrawn from the market because of prblems with it. So I came across a 6 shot R&D .32 S&W short cylinder for my 1848 .31 Baby Dragoon. It works great and I have a couple of other .32 S&W short revolvers I also shoot. I have a Kirst 5 shot cylinder for my 1858 Remington. It works fine but I wish it had 6 shots. I have heard and read all the reasons why this is, but Kenny Howell figured out how to do it. I would rather have a choice rather than being told. Anyway now Kirst is withdrawing their conversion for the Colt .31 Baby Dragoon size guns. Maybe their is something in Kirst's design that it does not scale downward very well. Kind of shame because competition usually leads to better products

I have a Remington pocket pistol from Kenny Howell converted to .22, with sleeved barrel.  Works great and looks original/good, have shoot it at the range and at SASS side matches.     I think the .22 is a lot handier than the .32 and less expensive to shoot.
