Heritage Big Bore's are made in Italy by Pietta and then finished and assembled by Heritage in Florida. My questions are as follows;
Is the nickel model actually finished in nickel?
Does anybody know if the nickel guns are quality?
I'm not sure where to go with this question. Haven't got much help so far. Think Heritage would give me some decent information if I asked them nicely?

I'm not at all familiar with Heritage guns so can't answer your questions with specifics.  I can provide, however, even with top shelf parts, you can make a Hugo.

I would think that a call to Heritage might be in order.........not much available on the webernet :-\

I worked on a Heritage BB that I assumed was in nickel.  Not really pondering it, I had no reason to believe otherwise.  It was fine, looked like it was finished nicely.  And this was contemporaneous to having a circa 2000 nickel AWA where the nickel came off the cylinder in sheets when I first shot it.  That one was not fine, by comparison or otherwise.

I have one in blue 4 3/4. Very quality gun. Handled a nickeled one. Sorry, don't know if this helps.
