Some of you guys are looking for chronograph results for the "one and only" load I posted on the other day. Rather than lose these results among the responses to my previous note, I created a new topic.
All the data for this load is in that post.
Here goes the chronograph data
5 Shots, 30' to the chronograph:
    1017 fps
    1004
    1024
    1020
    1017

Highest velocity: 1024 fps
Lowest velocity:  1004
Average:  1016
Extreme Spread: 20 fps (!!!)
Standard Deviation: 7

I am extremely pleased with these results! Well worth working all those hours to get. Note that as I was running the shots through the chronograph, my sighter was an anti-freeze jug at 55 yards. Dead on front sight, the jug bounced at each shot. Venison time this fall! I used a ProChrono Chronograph. Easy to use and makes chronographing fun (except for the mosquitoes...).

Ok, we need to start the SSS deer hunting challenge.  I'll be in the woods with mine as well.  Maybe Two flints will send a hat to the winner?

Two Flints

I'll donate an SSS Cap provided I get an autopsy report indicating the deer died from a bullet fired from a Spencer Carbine or Rifle ;D ;D  or a statement from a game warden that the hunter was using a Spencer that took down the deer.
