Will himself said to check EBAY, but a search for '49er holster plans only brought up lots of ottymatic style holsters for sale.

I reenact as an 1850s Gold Rush kinda fella and just want to make a 'plain Jane' kinda holster to go with the times ... in fact,I could even go without the trigger cutout ...

I got mine from Amazon but now it shows up unavailable. Worst case, you can order them from Will.

Hi,

I tried first wise ordering them from Will (he had none) ... he said to check Ebay .... they had none.

Chuck; I was looking for a 7 & 1/2 - 8" to hold my Gun that never was ... a .44 Cal. '51 Colt for reenacting

Here is a pic of the gun in an 1878 Merchant & Maine stylized holster ... a bit late for the 1850s ...

Darn!  I just looked at it and the Possibles Bag covers the holster so here is a pic of the holster, pistol, and Chuck's Belt, and Chucks Knife ...

Camano Ridge.

The first time it was a 'no-go',

The second attempt 'took' ... thanks!

Should you ever have use for a Slim Jim, this is one of the last patterns available ...

The Slim Jim pattern is really pretty easy to draw up from scratch. Once you get it where you want it, it's easy to adapt to any sixgun. I drew up this one, along with several others.

Hi Camano,

I must have gotten one of Braintan.com's final patterns. It is amazing how many reenactors still need a Maine & Winchester Style Slim Jim holster .... but for pre-Civil War revolver holsters, that is the one to copy ...
