Here she is Ladies and Gentleman

My brand new Cimarron Frontier Single Action Army revolver in .357mag/.38Spl sporting 4 3/4 inch barrel, true color case hardening, walnut grips and factory action job. My Colt will be in .45LC some day, but out of question for now. This one makes a sweet companion to my Rossi 1892 .357 20" barrel carbine.
Walnut grips are superbly fitted and finish on entire revolver is more than perfect. I will upgrade those anyway since the color is not the best. Still looking good though. I'm posting several pictures since not all of them came out sharp enough.
The only thing that is missing in Single Action Army on the left side of barrel. Instead there is Frontier. Oh well, can't have everything.
Following Curley's advice, I have purchased Renaissance wax and immediately applied it to this baby. You can see why it's kind of expensive from the pictures. Just does the job! Huge THANK YOU to ALL who shared their experience with these and "made me" buy it  ;D
I received reply from Cimarron supervisor who stated that cylinders of Frontier's and Great Western 2s are interchangeable.
Enjoy the pictures and feel free to express your opinions if you have one or you don't. Ask any questions if there is something I didn't cover.

Too bad there is not a way to have the patent dates engraved into the frame since Pietta will not do it anymore because they fear "Colt the magic pony." ;D

Too bad indeed. I wish those Great Western 2s have these. I have had a couple early production ones a few years back, but of course being dumb, sold them. Turbull finish was magnificient on them.

Pietta has been putting the patent dates on the frames of the Cimarron guns since last year.  Michael's gun obviously pre-dates this change.

Really?  I wonder why the change or I guess the order from Cimarron was so large they could not refuse.  Maybe it is time to give them a second look.
