Trail Boss powder
« on: October 15, 2014, 07:12:00 AM »
Anyone able to find Trail Boss powder for sale or in stock anywhere? Last I saw was on Gunbroker last week for $300.00 for 5 lbs. by a scalper. Last I paid this spring was $18.00 a jar. Thats $42.00 less a pound. Can't believe it has gone up that much in 6 months. Guess I'll stick with Pyro and Black.

The last stock of Trail Boss I bought was through my local Cabelas.  I've had the best luck finding it through local gun shops rather than online.  I stop into local gun shops from time to time, and ask about it.  I can usually pick up a couple of bottles.   Have had zero luck trying to buy it over the internet.

Off topic but I see BassPro has Red Dot and Bullseye in stock right now at the moment. There is no hazmat, and no shipping charges if you go into the brick and mortar store and pick it up after they ship it from the central warehouse. When I did this before there was no limits on how much you could buy, except for how much was in the warehouse. They do charge State sales tax.
Probably be all gone in half a day, it usually is.

I dont know why any payes as much for a 9oz can as a 12oz can.
So I never used it .
I can load anything with Unique and or BP for less money !

It was at the gun show last weekend for 17 dollars for the 9oz cans. That's back down to the prices of three or four years ago.
