All,

I'm going to post this in the Open Top forum before putting it in the Classifieds, figure the pards who run in here will have the most interest anyway....getting divorced and need to sell some items, and this is one you won't see very often!

F/S: Robert Millington/Armsport LLC Colt (Uberti), 1862 Pocket Police Conversion in .38 Short Colt. Set up for heeled bullets and bbl has not been lined....this is an actual 5 shot Pocket Police not the larger 6 shot models that have been renamed.

I purchased this used and spoke with Mr. Millington after the purchase as his name is not on the revolver in any spot....he said it was one of the first he had done and as the customer who ordered it did not want the gun refinished after the conversion process he left his name off as well.....however he did leave his identifying mark on the rear of the cylinder and I have a close up photo of said mark.

I sent the revolver off to Jay Strite and had him open up the chambers to accomodate heeled bullets as the bbl had not been lined, he also replced springs and the hand and now everything lines up and works as it should.

As I stated the gun was not refinished when the initial conversion was completed so its apperance is not brand new, but it's pretty freaking cool nonetheless!!!

There is an 18 month backlog for a new revover from Armsport and last time I checked this exact revolver would cost approx. $ 1,700 to $1,800 in addition to the long wait.

Price I'm asking is $1,200 shipped or $1,100 if you live in KY and can meet in person here in Louisville....please have a valid KY drivers license if meeting ftf!

Shipping will be by USPS priority mail.

USPS money order or personal check only as payment if mailing, cash only if face to face. If paying by check please allow up to 10 days processing by my bank before rifle ships.

Will need a current FFL copy to ship out of state. You can contact me here or at my email johnnyshoes@netzero.com to discuss or purchase, or for pics of the revolver.

Thanks, Johnnie Shouse....aka Captain John Jarrett

Does it have a gate and ejector? I'd be all over it if the barrel was lined.

A couple years ago Bob quoted me $895 without loading gate or ejector and $1285 with both. Don't know if that included lining the barrel or not.
