This was a long time coming. Used to bother me back in the 70s that someone  vandalized this statue.

The soldiers who died at Ft. Hartsuff were reinterred at Fort Mac.

This statue isn't at the cemetery. It's at the site of the original fort. Supposed to stand where the flag pole was, but there is no sign of any remains of the fort left.  It is several miles west of the cemetery along a narrow county road.
