Thanks guys, it's good to hear from all of you. My email provider stopped providing without telling me so now I have a gmail address, and would send it to anyone who sends me a pm. I'd love to  hear from you. After the ex remarried so quick I sort of crawled in a hole for a while but I've crawled back out now.

JD Alan

Hello everyone, back again. Since I last wrote I've been in the hospital a few times and darn near lost a leg; it was close. Finally got my own computer after months without one. The one I was borrowing went a way some time back leaving me high and dry.

I'm on disability now, living in Salem, Oregon, not working for wages, but I do the music on Sundays and in return have a small place to live. IT comes with a small single car garage where I've set up my leather gear, and I'm starting to build a few holsters. I'll show them once there are complete.

So God bless one and all, JD

Massive

JD if you are having circulatory problems of the heart and other vascular kinds, I would seriously recommend consulting a practitioner over the idea of talking massive doses of Vitamin C.  I got onto this by accident when I had some heart problems and was in a plane crash that caused other vascular problems.  One has to take massive amounts, but it is easy and cheap.  And I had very positive results in two days.  Swelling I had had for 30 years went down drastically.  At first I thought I was getting worse because the shape of my joint changed so much overnight that I didn't at first recognize it.

The theory behind it is that humans unlike almost all other animals lost the ability to produce vitamin C due to some genetic anomality along the way.  This seems to be a mater of fact.  Gorillas also have this trait, but in nature they get so much C that it only shows up as a problem when they are living in captivity.  The doctors I have talked to are not negative on all this, but they don't really believe it helps.  The only thing I have noticed since I started is that my government raised the recommended dose from 500 mg to 2000 mg.  My initial overdose was 8000mg, but I found I only needed that much, or could tolerate it, for about a year.  I am around 4K now, which gives me confidence that at my weight I am pretty close to just being a touch over what they recommend for everyone, and that they aren't getting.

Dalton, BhB, it's great to hear from both of you. I'll always be grateful Dalton for you pulling me in from those "Other guys" on the Dark Side!

Massive, I read what you wrote carefully and I've read quite a bit about this type of treatment. I thank you for it.

It's takin a little bit to get back in the saddle so to speak. I've made a pair of holsters for one of our club shooters but I think they are going to be a little tight.

I'm thinking I might just take apart that back seam and put in a thicker spacer and drop it down farther. I haven't applied any finish to them, so this is the time, if at all.

In any event I'm enjoying it.
