As always, the variety alone was worth the price of the match:

Krags, both rifle and Carbine.

Trapdoors, both rifle and carbine.

Martini Henry, a rifle and a Carbine.  Wielded by Highlander and Dragoon respectivly.

A Magazine Lee-Enfield.

A Lebel.

A Vetterli.

A Chiliean Mauser.

A Schmidt-Rubin straight pull.

Rolling Blocks.

Winchester 92s, and a 73.

Several Colt DAs, both New Army and Army Special.

At least one Round Butt 1899 S&W.

Colt SAAs in various barrel lengths

A Schofield, a #3 Russian, and a New Model #3.

A Webley WG, and a Webley-Pryse

An Adams revolver.

A Mauser C96 in .30 Mauser, with successful lead bullet loads, used by Col. Diamond.

An original Winchester 1887 Shotgun, used by our lone Forager.

These are off the top of my head, chime in if you can remember others.

Hey, don't forget the Lebel! Who had the Chilean Mauser? I missed that one. The Mauser that Jerry B had for sale?

Pony Racer

Lebels are cool...I keep my eye out for one... Until then I use my Berthier carbine in same caliber ;D

The Berthiers are cool too, if it's a three shooter, you're good to go for GAF. However, enough clips to shoot one of our skirmish stages might be a bit pricey.

Pony Racer

Not only is mine a three shooter it has the pre WWI stock set-up too!

I use the 5 shot clips just with three rounds in them.

Mine shoots nicely flat, at least up to 50 yds, for a turn of the century weapon - hoping to kill a white tail with it this deer season - 8mm lebel should do the trick.

How about your lebel?  Does the tube magazine system work well?

The tube magazine works flawlessly, as long as the cartridge OAL is long enough. The carrier snaps up with authority, and will launch a too short round right out of the action. They have to be long enough for the bullet nose to  hit under the edge of the front of the action to prevent this. I use cast bullets of about 220 grains, loaded as far out as possible. Only jacketed I have on hand are the 170gr round nose, I have to single load them.
