Well, I learned something about the culinary preferences of rodents today.  I cast, sized and lubed about 600 bullets for my 44 WCF with SPG and put them in baggies.  The baggies were left laying on my work bench in the garage.  I went to get them this morning to commence loading operations.  However, all of the baggies had been gnawed open, the bullets removed and all of the lube eaten from every bullet.  Said bullets were scattered over about 3 feet of the bench.

Guess now I have a new mouse/rat bait to use!

Now you know what to bait the mouse traps with!

I've had a packrat problem in my shed before. If I haven't re-melted them, I had some incredibly mangled 500gr .45 bullets I found behind a wall in there in a nest of junk-along with several small, long lost, bits of reloading equipment. Don't know what the alloy was, but it definitely was no match for rodent teeth.

I have issues with mice getting into my shed, and set two traps that get a good work out.  So far, I've been using peanut butter, but I'll give SPG a try now.  Great tip.
