New to reloading: Marlin 1894 .38/.357 CS JM slugged at .356, which size cast bullet do I need in order to avoid leading issues, will stay under 1200 fps/158 grains.
Thank you

If you're using commercial cast bullets, about any one of the .357/.358 should be ok for your velocity range. Probably round nose, flat point(RNFP) will feed the best, most lever guns don't like Semi wadcutters. I never did any reloading for a Marlin in that caliber, so I don't know if it is as sensitive to overall length as the various Win 92 clones are.

The Marlin feeds anything within reason. We use'm at work and I can't remember the last time one mis-fed or jammed. The RNFP lead will work best. We shoot .38s out of ours but if it was up to me, it ain't, I'd use .357 brass.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.
