Huckleberry Shoulder Holster - Looking to try and make one

Anyone made one and can offer upsome tips?  I like to profit from other peoples experience as much as possible...LOL

I have a 1878 38 S&W Spur Trigger that is crying out for off these holster so any help would be appreciated...

Helpcould include:

- Tips
- Tricks
- Reference to good photos of Val Kilmer in rig
- Just about anything else

If it comes out decent, I'll share a copy of the pattern developed.

For the pouch just look at a picture (or find and original) of an M7 shoulder holster for the M1911 or the Victory model .38 Special revolver. Get a copy of the movie Tombstone. Use stop action on your VCR or DVD at the point in the movie where Doc gets out of the barber's chair with his back to the camera.  That will tell you most of what you want to know,
