I know there seems to be a shortage of many reloading supplies, but has anyone seen any Trail Boss powder anywhere. Iam not short of it as I have 8 jars, but it is almost impossible to find in my area, which is Iowa. There is some on Gunbrokers but the price is marked awful high at $25.00 a jar to $30.00. I paid $16.00. I quess it has really become more popular than when I bought mine, as there was plenty of it, and some did not like it, as being mostly for handgun cast bullets. Just wondering.

All pistol and shotgun powders are hard to find right now.

I see it from time to time around here, one store has it for about 20.00 and one has it for about 30.00.

I picked up two 9oz bottles about two weekends ago from Scheels in Iowa City. It wasn't listed on their sheet that shows what is in stock, but the guy checked and there were some there.

I just got some from Gunbroker.com.  More expensive but I needed it.

Holly, Molly, If you have 8 jars of trail boss and need more you must plan to do some serious reloading. I bought three jars a couple of months ago and have loaded over a 1000 rounds of 38 special and 45 ACP for CAS. I still have 1 1/2 jars left.  Trail Boss has become a very popular powder even if it is rather "dirty" burning. But given its popularity and the lack of availability of other powders I can see why the price has gone through the roof. I am going to the Crossroads of the West gun show and if it the same as the last show, I plan to pay about $25.00 a 9 oz bottle.
