Gen Lew Wallace

Greetings,

My friend and co-worker makes home brew as a hobby and he wanted to make a label with me in period garb.  Please excuse my vanity as I share.

Does the ale taste as good as the label looks?

Gen Lew Wallace

Gentlemen,

Thank you for the compliments.  The beer is still in the brewing process.  As he tells me "it's aging" right now.  He likes darker, heartier ales like me, so I can't wait to taste it.

GAF connection?  Well, it is based on a Canadian song about privateers in the war of 1812 - Barrett's Privateers. Garnett is the authors brother.

General, that label not only looks great, but is a high compliment.  The only organization that ever considered using my picture was the FBI and I don't think it was a recruitment poster.  :D
