Gentlemen,
I just made a new camp stove that will work for percolating coffee.  I'm sort of pleased with it!

It is a wonder of the modern age.  You might enter it as an exhibit at the World's Fair in Chicago!

I love the design but surely hope you weren't standing around while the galvanizing was being burned off the tub.
Looks like there is still some more yet to burn off before it's environmentally friendly. ;D

I wasn't too close, but to be honest, I really didn't think about it either.  The nice thing about the design is that it doesn't use much wood, and what it does use is stuff that would normally be too small for firewood.  It's also pretty usable in the wind.

It's a smart, practical damn design and looks like something that you'd find in a miner's camp.

Drink milk, it helps stop the reaction in the body from burning zinc.

Yes, but it curdles when I put my whisky in it.

Drink the milk and use the whiskey as a chaser.

Nice.  It's definitely worth the sacrifice of a pail.
