Just for grins and giggles, how many Open Top owners have looked inside the section in the box that is scribed cross wise.  Just to see if there is anything in there??

I have also occasionally seen an extra wedge screw in there.

That little screwdriver thingie, along with the folding safety in the front of the hammer, passes for an "external safety device" required in some states, or so I've heard.

YOU weren't suppose to answer so quick.  Wanted everybody to go look inna boxes.  Most recently, there as been a cute little screwdriver,
Only good for the wedge screw or the ejector housing screw.  Unless you've already removed the Trigger, Bolt and Hammer screws, then it will also work on those screws if you have REAL patience.  Please don't use it for frame screws.  Bugger up the Trigger Guard and Grip Frame in a heartbeat.
And, since we've already hit that dumb flip out safer thengie with RED LocTite, wo don't care about it any more
