Armi Sport Spencer in .45 Schofield

I was having problems with the above gun in feeding of the shells. I read on list that  my caliber, .45 Schofield, needs to be 1.395 inches long. I loaded up a bunch of rounds to try and now the rifle loads and ejects verical, sideways etc.

Thanks to all on the list for the great information. "O" the "notch" at the back of the receiver is there, but every thing is working so well, I'll just leave it along for a while.  (if it ain't broke, it ain't going to git fixed!!!!)  

I brought two 56-50's and sold both before I got my 350 gr. bullet mold, from accurate molds. I"m kinda looking for another .56-50 to play with. Trades anyone!!!! I was using 5 grains of Trail Boss.  Any ideas about that???? with a 260 grain rifle bullet (you know round nose, flat point!!!)
