Got my 75's out this past weekend for their 1st real shooting, both shoot low and to the left. I have read several times that people bend the front sight a bit to center the shot. Does anyone ever really do this? I've never seen a pic of it done, just read about it.

You might look into slightly turn the barrels. The sight can, usually, be bent on some revolvers but it looks like crap. Depending on how it's attached you could break it loose too. I don't know how yours are attached to be barrel?
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

I was all ready to twist my barrel on a Remington 58 because it was shooting low & right til I had someone else shoot it and it hit dead on. My problem was putting too much "meat" of my trigger finger on the trigger causing the low & left POI typicall of left handers. For righties the guns hit low and left. Shoot the gun from a sandbagged rest and see if it hits the same if so then the gun is off. If it hits on zero witha sandbag barrel/frame rest then the problem is with the operator. BTDT lotsa times.

the gun should be sighted for you, as everyman shoots different with the same gun.

sighting the gun in a rest doesnt work much, neither, as there are a couple of things to consider:

specially a long distances, like 25 meters, there is a diffence between shooting standing, specially one hand, and shooting seated, and gun rested. The gun just wont shoot at the same place, something very real for us bullseye shooters. Thats why our guns are centered in the shooting position allways, which is standing.

keep shooting with that gun, and to know if you are doing things right or not, see if your groups have a patron, or are spread. If your groups are to the left, but the impacts form a group, bigger or smaller,  you are doing everything right, it is just the way you shoot.

then adapt the gun to that. These clones have ovesized front sights to let the user adjust it by filing.  So you can correct height by filing. For windage, turning the barrel involves much work and tools or a gunssmith. It can be very very easily corrected by just gluing a small plate on the side of the front sight,  in the  opposite side of the desviation,

it is what I did with mind. But sometimes that is not even neccesary...let me explain:

just change the load and or weight...you may find a load that shoots straigth, and that might need only correction of height.

so before any change, try several loads and bullet weights.

Thanks for the input. FWIW, the 1st gun had 5 shots in 1 hole with a flyer 1 1/2" to the left. Not bad, just 2" low and 1 1/2 to the left. 2nd gun had all 6 shot in a 2" cluster, same impact spot as the 1st. Distance to target was about 15 feet, about the same as CAS distance. So I'm please with the accuracy, just not the placement of impact. But I'll work with it.
Thanks again,
King

KM,
Next time you go to the range, mark your cylinder with a dot of fingernail polish to indicate a chamber as #6 then note which chamber throws the flier. I use a 6 shot bull and shoot one round into each bull in order and repeat for 3 cylinders. If you can find whichever chamber is less accurate you can diesgnate it as the "open" chamber for carrying 5 rounds in the gun. You may also note whether one chamber might have a slightly different diameter of forcing cone than the other 5.
