Carrier not rising in 66

Have a newer 66 - fired 50 rounds of APP with no problem - cleaned the gun put it away-  the next week it would not feed.  Looking down from the top the bullets are a tad crooked with the base toward the ladel (which is still solid).   Took off the side plate - nothing is moving to raise the bullet to the chamber.  What now?
