Well I have been wanting to do this for some time, and now the decision has been made. I'm going to dive into leather work. Have no idea where to start. Think I will start by going to the Marshal's thread on "how to's" and start there. Will start looking for tools and such when I have a better idea of what I need. Wish me luck.

You're right, the place to start is the "How-To" thread. Then, cruise the "show us yer stuff" threads. What you want to tackle will determine to what tools you'll need. That decided, start asking questions and you'll get great replies, right down to which tools will work best for your needs.

I'd suggest going to the Tandy site and watching all the free videos you can stand. Watching somebody do it live can make a big difference. You only really need a few basic tools to start with. Then you can add and upgrade as you go.
